Your new workplace

We are excited that you are interested in working with rehabilitation! We are currently looking for a rehabilitation assistant for our unit.

As a rehabilitation assistant, you will carry out training and tasks on behalf of licensed personnel. The interventions take place in the patient's own home. Rehabilitation assistants work together with occupational therapists and physiotherapists at Sundsvall Municipal Rehab. We sit together and work from our premises in Nacksta. Being together allows for close exchanges of experiences and strengthens our competencies as well as close collaboration.

Your contribution as a rehabilitation assistant

Together, we work towards preventive measures, health issues, and preserving individuals' independence. Working as a rehabilitation assistant in Sundsvall Municipality is varied, rewarding, and gives you the opportunity to meet patients of different ages, with various types of diagnoses, disabilities, and life situations. The assignment involves rehabilitation in the patient's own home. The tasks mainly consist of assignments from licensed personnel. The work is characterized by mobility and variation, and can be physically demanding. To thrive with us, we require flexibility as well as a willingness and ability to work both in teams and independently. We place great importance on good collaboration skills and interest. Your working hours will be scheduled on weekdays, and you will be partly responsible for planning and organizing your work, but with openness to the team.

Your qualifications and experience

Certified nursing assistant. It is a requirement that you have further education in rehabilitation or ergonomics. It is an advantage if you have completed the Rehabilitation Assistant training or have worked in rehabilitation. You must be able to communicate verbally and in writing in Swedish. The job involves driving, and you must have a B driver's license, manual transmission.
